the rainy season coming

Hydrangeas always remind us of the rainy season.There are about 10 tousand blooming Hydrangeas,attracting many photographers(including me!) at "Mimuroto-ji",the south area in Kyoto.

a miracle seasoning

Recently "shio-koji",made from malt rice and salt,is one of the biggest trend in japanese housewives.
"Shio-koji"soften meet,fish and bring out the taste.
We can make it easily and use it in place of salt for any recipe!

maiko-san

Last weekend,so fortunatelly my father met up with "cute" maiko-san at Imamiya-shrine!

Tradition

Last Sunday,I went to a tea ceremony lesson.
We practiced each role, as a host and a guest, take turns.
There is a precise procedure for each action and all procedure is oral tradition.
So we have to take over the next generation!
